Delicate French Custard Style Madagascan Vanilla Ice Cream
This was the flavour that kept us awake at night while we trialled over 50 iterations! Vanilla is a very complex ingredient (it has over 250 flavour compounds!) and produces the goddess of ice cream flavours. The term ‘it’s a bit vanilla’ is a complete misnomer. We source the highest-grade Madagascan Vanilla, which per gram is almost as expensive as gold and this is added to a rich French custard base of 18% double cream and free-range egg yolks, producing a delicate, luxurious, and creamy flavour. It’s delectable on its own, and we also recommend it on any dessert or waffle, however, just don’t drown it in a milkshake!
