Strawberry Ice Cream & Strawberry Compote Ripple

Customers have described this flavour as a ‘bowl of strawberries with cream’, a compliment we just love to repeat! We blend strawberries into a base with 18% double cream, before infusing it over night for that deep fruity taste. The freezing process can “bleed” the colour, so we add beetroot to provide a slightly deeper pink. The beetroot is totally tasteless but enhances the strawberry itself and is completely natural. We then fold through strawberry compote to provide texture and extra strawberry yumminess. This sells best in the warmer months, but in our opinion it’s so good it should be eaten all year round. We were delighted the Great Taste Award judges agreed with us and awarded it a star!
